Materials

Through many of our waste-led projects, we’ve developed a series of materials that are now available to work with directly. These materials can be specified independently, or as part of a broader design engagement with us.

Many interior designers work with us this way, selecting from our existing material library without engaging us for a custom solution.

WHAT THIS MEANS

A breadth of materials to explore

spanning different systems, textures, and formats, rather than a single recycled input.

Distinct surfaces you won’t find anywhere else

with patterns, finishes, and colour combinations authored unique to us, not sourced from elsewhere.

The flexibility of an in-house studio

with design support to adapt materials, customise surface expression, and develop project-specific variations.

MEET OUR MATERIAL SYSTEMS

Each material system is developed as a flexible foundation, able to adapt across formats, colours, and applications based on your project requirements.

Our Role with Material Innovators

Many of the materials featured here are developed in collaboration with material innovators, recyclers, and research partners. Our role is not to invent materials in isolation, but to work closely with those producing them, translating emerging materials into designed, usable applications.

We Test
We test materials in real-world conditions; cutting, pressing, finishing, and handling, to understand how they perform beyond the lab.

We Design
We design objects, surfaces, and systems that work with a material’s inherent strengths, shaping it into forms that make sense in use

We Apply
We bring materials into real spaces through prototypes, small-batch production, and built projects that move ideas from concept to completion

Materials in Space

These materials are designed for real spaces — from walls and counters to lighting and built forms.

CUSTOM MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT

We can also work with you to develop bespoke materials, often using your own waste streams or project-specific requirements.

This work builds on the same principles: material performance, spatial use, and refined surface expression.
