This is where material becomes the idea.

Feature builds allow your materials to take on a larger role, shaping moments, anchoring spaces, and carrying stories that go beyond surface or function.

Gin&G approached us to design a feature counter for their client, Y21’s flagship space, using recycled plastic as the primary material.

Stretching three metres long, the counter was conceived as a single, continuous element together with local recycler Semula, designed to anchor the space while showcasing the potential of recycled plastic at scale. Finished in a custom blue speckled palette, the surface introduces colour, texture, and material presence, balancing visual impact with everyday functionality.

Paper Plane Architects approached us to support the material direction for Prologue, a women’s wellness clinic, where the space was anchored around a jade-green palette.

Working closely with the overall concept, together with local glass recycler blio, we proposed material applications that complemented the calming, mineral-like quality of the interior. Through subtle tonal variation and surface depth, the final material reinforces the clinic’s sense of balance and wellbeing, adding quiet texture and material presence without overwhelming the space.
